As I interviewed Arthur, we toured his surroundings, which are brimming with sculpture and paintings created by family, artisans, and Arthur’s own hands. His pieces are edgy and explosive, stretching the boundaries of his cultural tradition. Some are sculptural commentaries on social, political, and religious issues.
